Summary

In 26.9 we've added a performance test to ICMP Polling to show latency, packet loss and jitter. We've also added support for Extreme Networks switches.

ICMP Polling: Add a test for latency, packet loss and jitter

For ICMP Polling, use a CSV file to upload IP addresses, with optional descriptions and locations. Highlight creates the locations and provides up/down status on the devices. You can alert and report on the availability of these devices.

In this release, you can optionally add a performance test to an ICMP Polling watch. The parent ICMP watch shows up/down status on the Availability line. The test shows additional metrics of latency, packet loss and jitter on a separate chart over time. Thresholds can be set for each metric with optional alerts sent if the threshold is breached.

Extreme Networks: Switch support added

In addition to supporting Extreme Networks Wireless Access Points, switches can now be discovered and monitored via the Platform ONE API.

Bug fixes

ICMP Polling: From the ICMP polling device dialog, there's now a link to the parent controller.
