# 26.5 - May 2026

### Summary

In **26.5** we've added the ability to alert when a slot on a switch is down.

### Switch slot alerting - Beta

Highlight can now track availability on each slot on a complex switch. This is shown on a chart on the Details page. If set up, then alerts will be sent when a slot is down.

Find out more about [switch slots on the details page](/details/other-watch-types/switch-slots.md) and [contact us](/getting-started/contact-us.md) to enable this functionality.

{% hint style="info" %}
This functionality is current only available for Cisco 92XX, 93XX and 95XX switches and must be enabled.
{% endhint %}
